PRESS AND REVIEWS

"I've been a Skip Hadden fan since I heard him swinging the funk with Weather Report on Mysterious Traveler. This recording should help correct what must now be recognized as negligent oversight by the music community at large. Those in the know knew. From a drumming point of view alone, Live at the Willow is worth the price of admission. Add Michael Bocian, Bill Frisell and Ratzo Harris? Now you're talking. Listening to this set of music has left me inspired."  — PETER ERSKINE

"...touchingly beautiful is the dialogue between drummer Skip Hadden and tenor saxophonist Dewey Redman, especially in the improv...my attention is also drawn to the totally unconventional but very communicative playing of Skip Hadden."  — JAZZ FORUM, OFFICIAL MAGAZINE OF THE INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FEDERATION
