A compilation of nine Weather Report songs released by Columbia/Legacy and made up of material written by Josef Zawinul, Wayne Shorter, and Jaco Pastorius. The CD covers their first release Weather Report, to the later release, Heavy Weather, and features drummers Alex Acuña, Narada Michael Walden, Ndugu Leon Chancelor, Steve Gadd, Eric Gravatt, Ishmael Wilburn, Skip Hadden, Alphonse Mouzon and even Jaco Pastorius on Teen Town. Percussionists Manolo Badrena, Don Alias, Alyrio Lima, Dom Um Ramao, and Airto Moreira are also featured.
